Hi, my name is Raquel, and this is incredibly hard for me to write.
I’m asking for help to save my home. My house is fully paid off, but I’ve fallen behind on HOA fees and essential expenses after a series of unexpected financial hits. Without help, I’m at risk of losing the one stable thing I’ve worked so hard to keep.
I work part-time, but trying to get full time. I had a full time job lined up, (to work both/with my pt job) but the hiring process keeps having false starts. I’m trying to obtain other employment in my field of public relations and my livelihood is now really effected.
Over the last year, unexpected expenses forced me to rely on credit cards just to get by, including:
- Past medical insurance and related expenses
- Loss of health insurance — I currently can’t afford routine checkups
- Other bills $1,000
- Water heater repair: $200
- Groceries and daily necessities: $400/month
The total amount we need to stabilize, catch up, and prevent foreclosure-related action is $7,000. This would allow us to get current on HOA fees, address urgent bills, and give us breathing room to rebuild without losing my home.
