On March 25, 2025, tragedy struck when a Ford Expedition, speeding at 100mph in a 35mph zone, crashed into John McCoy’s work truck.

The violent impact launched the SUV into a nearby drainage ditch. Inside were a man, a woman, and four children. Despite being shaken and injured himself, John immediately rushed to help the injured mother and children — all of whom had been abandoned at the scene.

According to police, the man—believed to be the children’s father—fled on foot before being picked up by another vehicle. He was later found to have no insurance.

John, who could only afford liability coverage, lost his sole means of making a living. His truck wasn’t just transportation—it was his landscaping business.

Now, through no fault of his own, John is left without a vehicle, without income, and without a way to support himself.

He needs our help.

With your support, John can get back on the road, back to work, and back to rebuilding his life. Every contribution makes a difference
