Brian Creaney (41), loving father of Silas (21 months) and husband to Lisa (32) was rushed to the ER 4/30/22 and underwent open heart surgery to replace his aortic valve.  Brian is being transported to Loyola University Hospital to be a assessed by a transplant specialist.

Brian is a strong hardworking father and PhysicalTherapy Assistant.  Brian is nothing but compassionate and would never hurt a life (aside from a spider).  Being with his family brings him great joy.  Brian is the youngest of 4 siblings 3 brothers and a sister, as well as, an uncle of 16 soon to be 17 nieces and nephews.  He is loved by many and all the family wants is to bring him home.

Brian received a new heart overnight.  Surgery went well; the road to recovery now begins.  Brian will likely spend the next 2 weeks recovering at Loyola and requires a vent and NG tube for the next few days.  Continue to pray for Brian and his family.

I had the opportunity to speak to Brian today through txt message.  Brian shared that he will likely be in the hospital until he gets a new heart.  Brian said he feels better though he has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; he physically feels fine, but the doctors have no idea how he will do if he attempts to go home.

Continue praying and sharing this site with friends and family...we are only 300.00 from our goal!

Brian is doing well.  The goal is to get him off the ECMO today and weaning him off the ventilator and hopefully by Tuesday if all goes well.  Once he no longer has the ECMO Brian can begin walking.  Lisa shared that the Dr. told her he can see a path to Brian's recovery.....as you can imagine that was music to her ears.

Please continue to share this link with your friends to continue the great momentum.

Brian's surgery went well yesterday; he is still on the ECMO as the Dr. didn't want to rush the process.  Today the tranplant team will be meeting to discuss whether or not Brian is a good transplant candidate.

Again thanks for your generosity and PLEASE share the link on social media...we are getting donations from all over!
