My dear friend Willie is going through the most difficult time of his life. LeeAnne, his wife of 33 years is near death after fighting for her life in hospital ICU. She is on continuous dialysis and near the end of her journey on this earth.
Before LeeAnne's illness began several years ago, She was the primary breadwinner as a Paralegal, Tax Preparer and Instructor of quilting/sewing. Since her illness, LeeAnne and her husband Willie have depleated most of their savings for her care as well as for frequent hospital visits and medical needs. Also, time away from work to care for her has caused a massive financial burden on the family. I have known Willie for over 50 years and he is like a brother to me.
