My name is Janah and I am raising funds for a down payment on a vehicle for myself and my kids.
My husband passed away a week ago and we have been without a vehicle.
I am currently on palliative care/hospice and often have to go to the ER for fluids/electrolyte replacement (I have severe malnutrition). A car would enable me to take my disabled son with me (autistic) so I don’t have to worry with trying to find someone to sit with him. It also helps me get myself and my kids to doctor appointments (my daughter has Crohn’s and goes frequently herself) the store when needed.
We were struggling financially before he passed but his sudden passing left us struggling a lot more as we wait to see if/what we get for survivor’s benefits (and I am still fighting for my own SSI/disability).
