Hi, generous humans who are investing in beauty and care in our world! You may have seen or participated in our very successful small fundraiser last week to get one friend's car back on the road... and then THIS week, I found out that ANOTHER friend-- who also happens to be a wonderful and generous Native artist who has been through some especially hard times in the past year-- just had her car break down permanently, and she is now without transportation and as a result, is super limited in her ability to get work and to start a new school program. So, I figured, hey, maybe we can work TWO miracles in a two week stretch?! Let's give it a try!
Everyone is struggling and there are many draws on all of us right now. If you are able to donate money, please do! Even little bits really add up AND keep the energy going. If you can't donate money, sharing this fundraiser with friends or folks you think might be able to give is SO helpful. If you can like, comment, or promote in any way, it keeps this going. And above all, your prayers and good thoughts are invaluable gifts towards the real purpose of all this, which is nourishing the world we are creating together to become a place where we all want to live, are all cared for, and all care for one another and for the world in return. This is my big prayer for our lifetimes.
Cars cost between $5000 - $10000 for anything decent right now, and she has $1000 saved up towards this, so we thought we'd start with a goal of $7500 and see what happened!
