I am a mother fighting for the most important thing in my life: the opportunity to bring my children home and rebuild our family.
In March 2026, my life changed in a matter of hours.
I was going through an extremely difficult period and trying to find safety and stability for myself and my children. What began as a stressful situation involving my older son’s behavior and a problem with my vehicle eventually resulted in law enforcement becoming involved, allegations being made against me, my arrest, and my children being separated from me.
I maintain that I never intended to harm or abandon my children. I love them more than anything in this world.
Since that day, I have been trying to navigate two complicated systems at the same time: a criminal case and a juvenile/child-welfare case. These systems are separate, yet what happens in one can have an enormous impact on the other.
I went from being the mother who cared for my children every day to seeing them only under restrictions determined by other people.
There are very few words that can describe what it feels like to have your children ask when they can come home and not be able to give them an answer.
I have continued working, relocating, rebuilding my life, pursuing professional licensing, completing requirements asked of me, attending court proceedings, participating in parenting services and counseling requirements, and doing everything I can to demonstrate that my children can have a loving, stable home with their mother.
But fighting a complicated legal case takes resources that I simply do not have.
I am raising money primarily to hire experienced private legal representation to help me fully understand my rights, obtain and review the evidence in my cases, challenge inaccurate or unsupported information when appropriate, advocate for increased contact with my children, and pursue reunification as quickly and safely as the law allows.
Donations will also help with the many expenses that have accumulated while I fight to rebuild our lives, including:
Attorney retainers and legal fees
Court-related expenses and obtaining records
Travel to Georgia for court proceedings, meetings, and visits with my children
Housing and relocation expenses
Transportation and vehicle expenses
Required classes, counseling, evaluations, and other reunification-related costs
Professional licensing and employment expenses so I can maintain stable income
Basic expenses connected with preparing a safe and stable home for my children
I am not asking anyone reading this to decide the outcome of a court case. I am asking for the opportunity to have qualified representation, for all of the evidence to be fairly considered, and for my voice as a mother to be heard.
Before this happened, I worked, cared for my children, built my massage therapy career, and worked toward creating a better future for my family. I am still fighting for that future.
My children deserve stability. They deserve to know how deeply their mother loves them. They deserve every reasonable opportunity for their family to be restored when it can be done safely.
