I’ll do my best to keep this short without leaving out too many details.
(TLDR; need to pay back two months of rent, catch up on all affiliated legal costs/leasing company fees, gas/groceries
My partner and I moved to GA in the beginning of 2025 in an attempt to be closer to Moe’s family and leave Florida. I initially had a full time job with Starbucks but due to differences in opinion I made the decision to leave. I have had two jobs after that; one of which I burned the back of my left calf badly. The other I dealt with being called racial and derogatory slurs.
I have been applying for work non-stop and have been able to make some money via part time work/commissions but it isn’t nearly enough to cover our needs.
My partner and I are facing eviction due to me being unable to find work. We have 6 days to come up with the money or to vacate our current place. If we can get enough money together then we may be able to keep the house we have now; the more likely scenario is we will be evicted and will need money to relocate.
For those of you who know me personally, asking for help is something I’ve always struggled with but I’m learning I’d rather people have the chance to help then to never know at all.
