Alyssa is more than someone fighting cancer. She is a mother, a friend, and someone deeply loved by her family and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Right now, Alyssa is facing an unimaginable battle with stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to other organs.
For any mother, a diagnosis like this would be overwhelming. But even while facing appointments, treatments, uncertainty, and the physical and emotional toll of cancer, Alyssa is still a mom. Her children remain at the center of her world and are one of the greatest reasons she continues to fight.
Now, we have an opportunity to help her fight.
OUR GOAL: $60,000 for Alyssa
Alyssa and her family are hoping to pursue an additional treatment program at Hope4Cancer Treatment Centers in Mexico, and we are coming together as a community with a goal of raising $60,000 to help make that possible as insurance does not cover any portion and they do not offer payment plans.
Hope4Cancer operates treatment centers in Playas de Tijuana and Cancún, Mexico, and offers personalized integrative cancer programs. Depending on a patient's medical needs, its programs incorporate numerous supportive and integrative therapies alongside nutrition and emotional and spiritual support.
The center also works with patients with brain and central nervous system cancers and states that its integrative programs can be used alongside conventional cancer care when appropriate.
That is why we need our community.

The Brunch Factory will be accepting monetary contributions as well as donated goods, gift cards, services, experiences, gift baskets, and other items for our raffles through September 20th.
Donated items will be raffled at The Brunch Factory and at the Suncoast Cornhole Classic, with proceeds benefiting Alyssa and her family.
But this fundraiser is about more than reaching a number.
It's about giving a mother more time to make memories with her children.
It's about helping a family carry a burden that no family should have to carry alone.
It's about surrounding Alyssa with so much love, encouragement, prayer, generosity, and support that even on the hardest days, she knows there is an entire community standing behind her.
