It all started with the loss of his wife. She was diagnosed 6 months before her death with glioblastoma. It was a heart-wrenching loss. Their relationship was something out of Disney. It ripped him up.

Two car accidents later, while he was commuting 4 hours for his job at Michaels , he received word that his sons were suing him for the family trust. The only asset left was a house in Vacaville. His biological son dropped out of the lawsuit but his stepson carried on the fight. Taking him to court four different times! Eventually Trevor hired an attorney as he clearly was out of his league.

The attorney took $15,000 and settled out of court in the stepson's favor, even allowing my brother to be billed the exorbitant attorney's fees his stepson had accrued during the several lawsuits.

The court appointed a broker to sell the Vacaville house and the broker sold it at a significant loss after a year. They still haven't settled it as far as where the funds are going to go but it looks like all the money Trevor has put into the house he will not be reimbursed for.

In 2025 Christmas, another car accident occurred. He's had the worst luck in vehicles. His biological son moved back in with him having no job, no plan for his future...

As '26 came in, my brother was fired from his Michael's job for attempting to stop a shoplifter.

No income, no vehicles. His only asset being his house in Redding which occupied for over 20years, his adult son living there with him and on Easter his adult son burnt it down!

It wasn't a complete loss, however he has no funds to repair it. It's red tagged and he's no place to stay as his homeowner's insurance is still dealing with the flood that occurred in the home due to the water heater eruption! Insurance has not paid for those damages yet and they are not providing him with any shelter so he needs more help.

I am not in the area and I'm not financially flush and I've given all that I have.

If you're able please have a heart and give so we can get a roof over his head again!

Imagine opening your home to family, only to see it ravaged by an unexpected tragedy.

That's the heart-wrenching situation my brother is facing after his son accidentally caused a fire on Easter. Now, their cherished home is red-tagged, leaving them without shelter or the means to start anew.

The insurance company, unfortunately, hasn't been able to assist with the immediate need for rebuilding or temporary housing.

My brother, who has already endured so much hardship over the years, is now on the brink of despair. We need to raise $53,000 to repair the most damaged parts of the house.

This amount will help us make the necessary renovations to ensure it's livable once more, offering a glimmer of hope amid such a challenging time.

Your generosity can light the way to recovery for my brother and his family. Every dollar you donate brings them one step closer to regaining the safety and comfort of their home.

Please join us in rebuilding this family’s future. Your support is a powerful testament to compassion and community.

Thank you for standing with us in their time of need.
