Hello friends,
My mom Kathy who is 75 years old and I Christie who am 51 years old are both bipolar and in desperate need of a therapy pet. My mom is retired and I'm unable to work Im a recovered addict after 17 yrs of using Morphine & Percocet and have 6 years clean. Now I spend my time helping other addicts who are still struggling. We had 2 beagles and lost them only 3 months apart from each other which devastated us for years, one at just 13 the other made it to 15. And now years later we're ready to open our hearts to love a new pet, to cherish and adore. The problem arises in the funds needed to take care of a pet. Food is only one expense. But there will be occasions where our pet will need to go to the vet or check up or may develop an illness an infection or God forbid a surgery. These are the reasons that have delayed us from rescuing a pet a dog. Please know that we would cherish and love this dog with all our heart and give it all our attention. And with our illness it would bring so much joy and happiness and comfort. If you can find it in your heart to donate whatever you could we would be forever grateful!
