Hi Everyone! I’m coming on here to tell you guys about my close friend. This past Friday night, August 7, 2026 Nayeli was playing a soccer game in Birmingham. Nayeli had taken the ball from the opposing player and had jumped to dodge player #1 tackle and that’s when player #2 came in and swept her off her feet causing Nayeli to fall onto her shoulder. Player #2 got a corresponding yellow. Nayeli was rushed to the hospital where we later were told her collarbone was broken in half. Judging by the location of the rupture, she will more than likely have to have surgery. I am sharing this to say, I don’t feel like it’s fair that a decision made in the heat of the moment by the opposing teammate should have completely affected Nayeli’s livelihood. So right now, I am turning to the public for help to at least help my friend financially. She’s going through a lot right now and the last thing I want her to worry about are expenses. The most important thing, I feel like she should worry about.. is recovering. ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thank you so much for taking your time to read this.

¡Hola a todos! Vengo aquí para contarles sobre mi mejor amiga. El viernes pasado por la noche, 7 de agosto de 2026, Nayeli estaba jugando un partido de fútbol en Birmingham. Nayeli le había quitado el balón a una jugadora rival y saltó para esquivar el choque de la jugadora número 1; fue entonces cuando apareció la jugadora número 2 y le llegó para tirarla, provocando que Nayeli cayera sobre su hombro. La jugadora número 2 recibió la tarjeta amarilla correspondiente. Nayeli fue trasladada de urgencia al hospital, donde más tarde nos informaron que tenía la clavícula partida en dos. A juzgar por la ubicación de la fractura, lo más probable es que necesite cirugía. Comparto esto porque no me parece justo que una decisión tomada en el calor del momento por una rival haya afectado de tal manera el sustento de Nayeli. Por eso, ahora recurro al público para pedir ayuda y apoyar a mi amiga económicamente. Está pasando por una situación difícil y lo último que quiero es que se preocupe por los gastos; creo que en lo único que debería preocuparse es en su recuperación.
