⚠️OSCAR (now FRANKIE) NEEDS OUR HELP!⚠️

💙OSCAR (now FRANKIE) was recently pulled from URGENT RESCUE only LIST at the Franklin County Dog Shelter in Columbus, OH 💙

😊His dedicated foster to adopt, AND the rescue that pulled him, are seeking Financial Support with OSCAR'S (Frankie's) HEALTH (vet bills)!😭

🟣Originally, this pup was labeled as a 10 yo senior that came as a stray to the shelter with skin issues, “severe chronic ear infections (both canals are calcified), a grade 2 of 6 heart murmur, mild periodontal disease, and a suspected healing corneal ulcer in his right eye.”🟣

🟦However, upon his pull from the shelter, he was seen for a followup by a community veterinary clinic immediately. The Vet clinic actually believes that he's much younger (around 5-6 years of age), and during his exam had identified multiple masses on his body (oral mass, mass on 1 of his nipples, and bleeding pressure wound on his back leg, and 2 others), which were thought to possibly be cancerous 😭. At least 1 mass came back cancerous, and was consequently fully excised in surgery. NONE of these masses were identified by the shelter's medical team while he was at the pound. He continues treatment for his chronic massive ear infections and skin issues. 🟦

🤕 And if this wasn't enough, the poor boy had bleeding complications from the oral surgery, where one of the masses and additional teeth had to be removed due to an exposed root. And his bleeding wouldn't stop! This caused additional complications and he ended up with gum necrosis which is being addressed with a laser therapy.🤒

🟪 Several pain meds, anti- inflammatories, antibiotics, pain medicine, laser therapy and medicated shampoos. With his gums, he's facing a risk of debridement surgery in the future😓!🟪

🔵Needless to say, the unexpected medical costs and health complications have left Frankie's foster to adopt mom and the rescue in a conundrum 😪.🔵

👏THEY'RE DOING AN AMAZING JOB to care for Frankie and provide him with the BEST CHANCE IN LIFE!👏

💐 ANY HELP WITH HIS MEDICAL BILLS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED as available funds have been depleted AND significant balances are still due 💐

👉👉Even $5 makes a difference!
