Last night while we were out of town, we were informed our house burned down. Family members who were still there made it out with just their lives. We have no idea how it started but it originated from the second floor and took out the whole 3rd floor and the roof.

Currently we are expecting our third child due in April and have spent the last few months focusing on remodeling our home and nesting for the baby, we’ve raised two children in that home, and within a flash all their processions and memories are gone.

God did save us and make sure we were out of the house but only ashes remain in the wake of this tragedy.

Now is the time to rebuild and re-home, we have no idea what the process will be but anything people are willing to spare can make the process a lot easier will undoubtedly help.

Our girls smiles and our lives are all that matter to me and at times like this, reminding ourselves that material things can be replaced but our lives cannot, is the one thing that gets me through the day.

thank you for all the love and support

hey guys! just wanted to give an update, we have spoken to the landlord and he doesn’t think we will be able to move back in for over a year, which is understandable so now it’s time to just get the fund together to move into a new place. The most heartbreaking thing, is we have been tenants for almost ten years with our landlord and we were told we couldn’t  go in to grab our things because it was too dangerous but found out others were accessing the building, giving all of them access to rummage through our belongings as well. Disappointed is an understatement. Anger is what i feel, as we put so much love and effort into our home just for it to be rummaged through.
