Hercules is my Yorkie. He was raised by Elliot Feldman. When Elliot died almost 5 years ago, I brought Herc home with me.
Anyway, he's healthy, and happy most of the time, but his teeth are rotting due to gum disease. Apparently, it is a common side effect that comes with the breed. I just spent $1000.00 getting him checked out, blood work, etc. and vaccinated for various things..... now they want between 4 and 6 thousand dollars more to fix his mouth. I just don't have it. This is something that needs to happen ASAP, in case there is mouth pain and to keep him eating healthy.... also to alleviate the infections that happen as a result of the disease.
