Update Saturday 7/10
Gary has been at UT for 15 days & on a ventilator for 11. We hasn't been aware or able to talk since 6/26. it's been one thing after the other & a lot of tests were done but because his kidney function was so low, the Drs didn't feel comfortable ordering CONTRAST with his CTs & unfortunately they didn't find out what ultimately sent him into Septic Shock until it was too late to save much of his colon.
he has already had 2 surgeries with another schedule for Monday. He ISN'T out of the woods yet & when they have finished his 3rd procedure, He will have a long road to recovery
~Friday 6/25 Gary drove himself to UT hospital with stomach & back pain. He hadn't felt good in over a week. They admitted him for severe dehydration & his Kidneys shutting down.
it's been a whirlwind of one thing after the other. He's currently in ICU on a ventilator, Day #7
I started this page to ask for help with his expenses.
for now the only pressing issue is his Rent. On July 1st, I spoke to his Management Company & explained the situation however Her only response was, "Well it's technically not late until the 5th and if he's never had a late fee ($90) before then I can ask if it can be waived"
I just don't want him to wake up & be worried about Not having his place to go home to because at this point We have No Idea how long he will be here
since this is the 2nd week of being out of work, I'm putting a $2,000 goal to help with July & August rent
