I am making this appeal for assistance for my beloved oldest Son Hasan Jordan Woodyard. At age 46, Hasan has always been a beacon of light with his helpfulness to others and a tower of strength and hope to our family. Hasan has never been in any trouble and after a divorce ten years ago, he has move on with his life along keeping a positive relationship with his one daughter. He recently moved to Atlanta five months ago from living in South Florida for about 9 years , eager to build a brighter more productive life.
However within the past month everything has turned upside down. After a series of medical appointments and numerous medical exam and tests, Hasan has received a devastating diagnosis: Stage Four Cancer, Prostate,Spinal, Bone, Lymph Node, Un- Operative at time of this writing November 24, confirmed diagnosed November14th, first Chemo treatment November 21,. We are fighters , I was diagnosed 16 years ago with Prostate Cancer, having an early diagnosis, with treatments I am Cancer Free. Hasan has a battle on his hands that requires long term treatment and medication. Just one of the medications prescribed cost 3000.00. We can not afford this medication. We will have a consultation with his Doctor on Tuesday to try to get him on some program to supplement the cost. I am a father that has provided for my family through everything, this, this diagnosis is getting the better of me. I making an appeal not knowing how much we will need, and for how long. Hasan is living in my home here in Georgia and I will do everything in my GOD giving power to care for and assist him as we go through this together, our family motto is ONE LOVE, ONE HEART, ONE FAMILY.
