Hi there! My name is Abby Callaway, and I have the honor of competing for the title of Miss Georgia this June while representing the Columbus area as Miss Fountain City 2024.
I am raising funds for educational scholarships and heart research with the AHA GO RED x Miss America collaboration! American Heart Association's Go Red for Women has joined forces with Miss America's Scholarship Foundation to raise both research dollars AND tuition scholarships, ensuring a healthier, smarter future for women in America. The Miss America Opportunity is one of the largest scholarship organizations in the country to provide educational scholarships to young women, and I am so proud to be one of the thousands of women who have received scholarships. Because of the Miss America Opportunity, I am able to pursue my Bachelor’s of Public Health at Oregon State University while also working full time.
The Miss America Opportunity and the Miss Georgia Opportunity go farther than scholarships. The Miss Georgia Opportunity is a year round program of “Style, Service, Scholarship, and Success,” which represents the “four points” of the Miss America crown. The experiences I have had as a candidate have allowed me to develop professionally and serve my community. Through my service initiative, Sunflowers Against Sexual Assault, I am fortunate to promote community prevention of sexual violence and while also advocating for survivors like myself. I am forever grateful for the Miss America Opportunity investing in young women all over the country so that we can develop into the best versions of ourselves while serving our communities.
I would be honored for you to help me raise scholarship funds for women. No donation is too big or too small, because women’s empowerment is truly priceless.
Sincerely,
Abby
