Hi everyone,
As we all know, devastating fires continue to impact communities, leaving many families with the unimaginable loss of their homes, belongings, and sense of security. While we can't replace everything that has been lost, my husband, our children, and I would love to do our part by raising funds to help those affected, as well as local shelters and animal rescues during this incredibly difficult time.
My husband is one of hundreds of firefighters from across the country who are working tirelessly to battle these fires. He has witnessed firsthand the devastating toll they have taken on families and communities. Although they can't save every home, his heart—and the hearts of so many firefighters—is to protect lives, serve others, and help in any way they can.
Our family has made sacrifices as well. My children and I only saw him for six days during the month of July, and we've been told we likely won't see him at all throughout August. While our kids miss their dad every day and often ask when he'll be home, they understand that he is out there helping others and protecting as much as he possibly can.
As a family, we want to help beyond the fire line by supporting those who have been impacted. If you feel led to give, any donation—no matter the amount—will be deeply appreciated and will go toward helping families, shelters, and animal rescues during this devastating time.
