Juan Camilo came to the United States from Colombia with a simple dream — to work hard, live honestly, and build a better future through effort and dedication. For years, he’s been a valued member of his community, known for his reliability, kindness, and willingness to help others without hesitation.

Today, Juan Camilo is detained by ICE and separated from the life he built through years of hard work. His detention has left his friends and loved ones devastated and struggling to gather the resources needed for his legal defense and basic support.

Who Juan Camilo Is

Juan is the kind of person everyone can count on — a responsible worker, a loyal friend, and someone who always treats others with respect. He’s contributed to his community, paid his taxes, and lived with integrity.

Those who know him describe him as quietly strong, humble, and generous, with a deep sense of responsibility toward those around him.

He doesn’t deserve to face this alone.

Why Your Help Matters

Immigration cases are long, complex, and costly. Juan Camilo urgently needs financial support to cover:

  • Legal representation and filing fees

  • Bond or release expenses

  • Basic living costs while he is unable to work

Every donation — no matter the amount — brings Juan Camilo closer to regaining his freedom and continuing to contribute to the community he now calls home.

How You Can Help

  • Donate – Every contribution makes a real difference.

  • Share – Please spread the word on social media and with your networks.

  • Support – Messages of encouragement mean a lot during this difficult time.

From Those Who Know Him

“Juan Camilo is one of the most hardworking and respectful people we’ve ever met. He has spent years building an honest life here. We want to help him return home and continue the life he’s worked so hard for.”

Together, we can make that happen.

🙏 Thank you for standing with Juan Camilo and showing compassion when it matters most.

Wonderful News: Juan Camilo is Back Home! (Sorry about the delay)

We are overjoyed to share the news we have all been waiting for: Juan Camilo has been released and is finally back home with his loved ones!

After a long and difficult period of uncertainty, Juan is back in the community he has worked so hard to build. The relief and happiness of having him home are beyond words, and we wanted you to be the first to know. (it took some time for me to do this - apologies for that)

We Couldn't Have Done This Without You

This victory belongs to everyone who believed in Juan Camilo’s integrity and his right to a future here. Your generosity provided more than just financial support; it provided the legal defense and the hope necessary to navigate a complex system. Special thanks to Carmen Llanes and Brian Mitchell.

  • To our Donors: Your contributions covered the essential legal fees and detention costs that made his release possible. You turned a desperate situation into a story of reunion.

  • To those who Shared: By spreading Juan Camilo’s story on social media and within your networks, you helped us reach people we never could have reached alone. Your advocacy was powerful.

  • To the Community: Your messages of encouragement sustained Juan Camilo and his family during their darkest hours.

What’s Next

While we celebrate this massive milestone, Juan Camilo will continue to work through his legal process to ensure his long-term stability in the U.S. Because of you, he can now fight his case from the safety of his home, surrounded by the friends and neighbors who value him so much.

Thank you for standing with Juan Camilo. You proved that when a community comes together, we can protect our own.

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for all the help, kind messages, and support for Juan Camilo. I’ve shared every single message with him, and they’ve truly helped him stay strong.

At the end of last week, Juan Camilo’s attorney informed us that, due to the government shutdown, a hearing date has not yet been scheduled. Because of this, the request for his bond has been submitted directly to ICE. However, the process is taking longer than usual because of the ongoing shutdown.

From our side, we’re staying closely involved and making sure everything possible is being done so that Juan Camilo can be released soon. Your donations have made a huge difference — they’ve allowed us to cover the attorney’s fees and help Juan Camilo manage his basic expenses, both inside and outside the detention center.

Apologies for not posting an update sooner; I’ll make sure to share more details as the process moves forward.

Thank you again for your continued support and solidarity. Please consider donating and sharing.

With gratitude,

-Andres
