Every mother deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported during one of the most vulnerable moments of her life.
But for too many Black women, pregnancy and childbirth come with fear instead of peace.
In the United States, Black women are 3–4 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women. These are not just statistics—they are mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends.
That’s why we created BirthRight Wellness & Advocacy Center.
BirthRight is more than a clinic—it is a safe space, an advocate, and a lifeline for women navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.
We provide:
- Doula support and birth advocacy
- Maternal wellness education
- Postpartum care and guidance
- Resource connections for underserved families
- A voice for women who feel unheard in medical spaces
This work is deeply personal.
BirthRight was created out of a passion to protect, educate, and advocate for women—especially those who have experienced fear, trauma, or neglect within the healthcare system.
Why We Need Your Help
We are in the final steps of securing a physical space to serve our community—but we need your help to get there.
Your donation will directly fund:
- Securing and activating our clinic space
- Essential equipment and furnishings
- Educational materials and patient resources
- Doula services for women who cannot afford care
- Community outreach and support programs
We are working to raise $7,000 immediately to secure our location and begin serving families.
What Your Support Does
- $25 → Provides educational materials for one mother
- $50 → Supports a prenatal or postpartum care session
- $100 → Helps fund doula support for a mother in need
- $250+ → Contributes directly to opening our clinic doors
Every dollar moves us closer to saving lives.
