While Levi was traveling for work, he sustained life threatening injuries in a car accident. Twenty-four hours later when Lexi arrived at his side, he was still in a coma and on a ventilator at the hospital. Miraculously, the following morning, Levi started breathing on his own. He woke from the coma.
Levi has multiple spinal fractures and injury to his frontal lobe. Rehabilitation and recovery will prove to be physically, mentally, and financially demanding. After his release from the hospital, Levi will need spend a few weeks in a cognitive rehabiliation facility.
