Help Me Rebuild After Losing My Car and My Sense of Stability
I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this. I’m someone who has always tried to keep pushing forward and figure things out on my own, but right now I’m overwhelmed and doing everything I can just to hold things together.
Over a short period of time, I went through situations that made me feel like the ground beneath me was being pulled away, and made me just want to give up and end it all. While already dealing with fear, uncertainty, and the very real possibility of losing my stability and housing, I also lost my vehicle — something that represented so much more than just a car.
To some people, a car is transportation. To me, it was security. It was independence. It was my ability to get where I needed to go such as appointments, handle responsibilities such as grocery shopping, reach opportunities for my nonprofit, and keep moving forward when life became difficult.
Losing it at a time when I was already struggling felt devastating. It felt like being kicked while I was already down. I’ve spent a lot of time feeling hurt, angry, and honestly wondering how so much could happen all at once. It was like the whole world that I knew was crumbling around me.
I’m trying not to let this break me. I’m trying to keep believing that difficult moments don’t have to become permanent situations. I’m trying to rebuild instead of give up.
I’m asking for help raising funds to get a dependable vehicle so I can regain some stability and start putting the pieces of my life back together. I’m not asking for anything extravagant — just something reliable that can help me get to where I need to go and help me move forward again.
If you’re able to donate, please know that any amount truly matters. If you can’t donate, even sharing my story could make a difference.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading this, for caring, and for helping me believe I can get through this.
