I'm the guy in the picture. I'm raising funds to provide gifts to over 160 disadvantaged youths in respite houses. Along with that goal, is the goal of giving these children the gift of being able to give to others.

Many of these kids have experienced a variety of traumas in their young lives. Some are a part of the foster care system, others are in group homes, some in kinship placements, and others hoping for family reunification. Holidays are typically a very difficult time for these kids due to their current situations and separation from family. I just really want to bless them, bring them joy, and create positive memories in a difficult time. I'd also like to bless the staff who work with these kids year round. I'd like you to join me in this effort.

100% of proceeds will go towards the purchase of gifts. None of this money will  be used for any of the other cost associated with this mission.

Christmas is over, and the beard and white hair is gone. So, time for a final update to my generous donors.

By the end, after adding more respite and group homes in the final week, we ended up providing about $100 worth of Christmas presents (that they got to choose) to about 250 kids, which is 90 more children than the original goal. After the respite home visits ended, I opened up the Christmas trailer to parents and grandparents in the community that were struggling to provide gifts for their kids. About 30 more kids got at least one gift because you donated. So, we successfully touched the lives of hundreds of families, leaving each one with a souvenir or a story that pointed them to Christ.

It's good to celebrate successes, but failures come with valuable lessons. The biggest lessons I learned this year is that, when you're trying to raise large amounts of money, 1. Start earlier. 2. Start an official charity so corporations can sponsor you and get the tax deduction.

This update is me starting earlier. Also, I've already been out taking advantage of the Christmas clearances, and I'll be continuing today. I've decided to spend $4000 to get at least $10,000 worth of gifts that I'll pile to the ceiling in my bedroom till next year.

In conclusion, thank you all again for your donations.

If you know anyone that might be willing to help fund the rest of this campaign (to pay for the gifts I've already bought and am already buying), please share this with them.

If you know anyone in the Phoenix area who might be willing to help with the creation of the charity and the planning for next year, ask them to email me at: santa@northpoleaz.com

Thank you all and God bless!

I just realized I haven't updated you all recently.

A company donated the use of a 34 ft toy hauler to turn into a mobile Santa's workshop. Another generous donor is lending us the use of the powerful Diesel truck to move the workshop from respite house to respite house.

One weekend in December down and about 60 kids have visited the workshop and have selected gifts, being left with a souvenir that points them toward the true meaning of Christmas

With the combination of very generous donors and some great bargain shopping, about 150 more kids will get to come into Santa's workshop and pick a gift in the next few weekends

After that, another 50-ish kids in group homes and Foster homes will get gifts dropped off on Christmas Eve. No donation will be wasted

Here is a short video showing Santa's workshop.

I'm stretching every dollar.

I've taken advantage of Black Friday prices and a super nice discount from Kohls on top of those prices.

I'll be taking advantage of Cyber Monday as well. By Tuesday, Nov 28, I'll have spent over $9000.

If everyone could share this with their friends and family, we could easily reach the goal.

Special thanks to those who have already donated and to Kohl's for all the help they gave.
