Hello everyone! My name is Nikisha Cummings, and I am honored to represent Trinidad & Tobago in the Miss Caribbean LA 2025 pageant. This is more than just a competition for me—it’s an opportunity to showcase my heritage, advocate for causes close to my heart, and inspire others to chase their dreams.                                                       

Why This Pageant Matters to Me                                                     

As a child, I would eagerly play kiddies carnival, in Boston, twirling in my costume, enjoying all of it's magical splendor. Visiting Trinidad, during carnival, I was always captivated by the moko jumbies towering above, the sound of steel pan music filling the air, and the colorful energy that seemed to pulse through every part of Trinidad & Tobago.

Growing up, I developed a deep love for the island’s culture—our cuisine, the delicate flight of hummingbirds, and the peaceful sight of turtles nesting on the beach. These experiences shaped who I am today and why competing in Miss Caribbean LA is so important to me.

It’s not just about a crown; it’s about representing the spirit of my homeland and sharing its beauty and strength with the world. This pageant is my chance to give back to my roots by advocating for causes I’m passionate about mental health and animal welfare. With your support, I can continue this journey to make a difference, both on and off the stage.

  Flights, hotel stay, transportation, and other travel expenses to ensure I arrive fully prepared and stress-free for the competition.
• Hair, Makeup & Beauty Essentials – $1,400
  Professional-grade makeup, hair products, and skincare essentials to maintain a polished and flawless look throughout the competition. Oh, and a makeup artist/hair stylist to apply them!

  Includes shoes, jewelry, opening number outfit, talent performance props, and additional styling pieces needed for the competition.

  Professional photoshoots, promotional materials, social media marketing, and video content to elevate my brand and sponsorship visibility.
• • Post-Pageant Community Projects – $2,000
  Contributions toward hosting beach cleanups, puppy fostering/adoption events, youth mentorship programs, and other community-driven initiatives after the pageant.
