Brittney, a beloved wife, mother and teacher faces a formidable challenge—a severe back injury that demands surgery which has been scheduled for Sept 17 . . After bravely managing several procedures, Brittney is set to undergo back surgery, a step crucial for her healing and return to a life free from pain.
Her family has already braved many storms, with Brittney being their sole breadwinner after her husband, Frankie's fight against a brain tumor, and while he is remission, it has left him unable to work.
Brittney is not alone in her journey; her husband Frankie is there with her... and she is the proud mother of two incredible boys, Jakob, a Senior and Mason, a Sophomore in high school. Their lives are very active with academics, wrestling, baseball and football, and their mom's presence and support are invaluable.
Brittney's greatest wish is to focus on healing without the added burden of financial stress, ensuring the boys don’t have to worry during her recovery. She is looking at 3 to 6 months of healing time to full recover.
She is a very much beloved teacher and loves and misses her kiddos and families... She has always been a hands on parent and teacher, always getting down to her kiddos level to engage with them and not being able to do so has broken her heart.
