Benjis our 6 year old lab. He’s not just a dog, he’s family. He was out using the bathroom down by our creek when I noticed he was limping. I called him up and noticed a lot of blood. Drove an hr to our nearest emergency vet. He has 4 lacerations, one being down to the bone and a possible toe break. He has to be put under anesthesia to suture the cuts and to get X-rays. If his toe is broken he will have to have surgery to remove that toe. It will be a long road to recovery.

Amber Hall
Update: I Took him in yesterday to the vet. He has no sign of infection, thankfully. His foot is a little bit more swollen than last time and a couple stitches popped out. We have two more Re-wraps and cold laser treatments until his stitches Come out.
The vet believes he got into a trap and pulled his leg out. We have searched a few times, but with snow and rain has made it very difficult.
