Mary and Bryan Smith are retirees who have always worked hard to provide for themselves and their family. Now, as they navigate retirement, they rely on pensions that barely cover their living expenses. Bryan works part-time at a local golf course, but his hours and wages drop significantly during the winter months, making it even more challenging to keep up with bills. Over time, we have sold nearly all of our personal possessions to the pawn shop just to get by, but we have now run out of things to sell.
Despite our best efforts, we are struggling to cover the basics—mortgage payments, HELOC payments, utilities, and groceries. Each month brings new worries about how we will make ends meet, and the stress has been overwhelming. We have always tried to be self-sufficient, but right now, we need a little help from our community to get through this difficult season.
We are truly grateful for any and all support we might receive. Your kindness and generosity will help us keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. Thank you for considering a donation and for being there for us during this challenging time.
