Hello, my name is Samantha my husband Dale and I started our home journey about 1.5 years ago we thought we had found the house of our dreams where we could raise our 2 out going little boys. But soon after closing we had found out after having them their with us they both ended up getting sick and had hard time breathing and were wheezing. We decided to search around and think maybe it's allergies but what we discovered was that the sellers had purposely covered up mold and the more we searched the more we found.. our oldest son Maverick is now on a everyday steroid breathing treatment and our youngest Maxton is slowing getting better after having his regular breathing treatments. We took the kids and instead of moving into our new home we have to continue stay with my parents. We are paying our Morgage and bills even though we can't safely stay there. We have added up the numbers and roughly $17,000 is what is has come to between the roof being repaired which the seller was supposed to fix but just laid single shingle over it and nailed it so it continues to leak. And they had added on a addition to the home but did not do it properly so the foundation under that area had been growing black mold and every other kind of mold right under the floor boards. We are at a lose we gave all of our savings to close on this house only to be lied to and taken advantage of. The sellers knew we had young children and they still didn't tell us about the mold or the infestation on mice at one point so there was mouse droppings everywhere. They had told the realtor there was no infestation and the roof didn't leak. The seller had a list of things she was supposed to do to bring the house up to fha approval and the yard was supposed to be cleared of trash and debris and they did not remove it the sheds were filled with trash and how it ever pasted was beyond us. We are devistated that our children got sick and the bills are adding up and not having the funding to fix it has made it hard for us to even try and think of how we are supposed to start our own journey with our family if we can't even move them in a home that was supposed to be safe.. if anyone could please help us any little amount would be much appreciated.
