Recently, on a visit to a local vet for a urinary concern, Void was infected with PARVO or feline distemper/panleukopenia virus– an illness which viciously attacks the digestive tract of a cat– due to poor sanitation and veterinary negligence regarding regular vaccine administration. Within a week he had completely crashed, being unresponsive and lethargic, and has been fighting for his life with this lethal illness every day since. We are on day six of recovery and still he refuses to eat, but his vitals have stabilized and the vet is reporting solid signs. Still, this disease is a lethal fight that most cats have a very small percentage of winning.
In fighting with Void to save his life and give him the best care possible, bills have been extreme. I do not like to appeal to the community or rely on others like this, but to save my best friend of ten years, I know I desperately must.
Please support me and support him in our journey to bring him home and back to his bright, affectionate self that he was before everything took a turn for the worst. ♥️ I love this cat more than anything and I know he deserves a long, full life and to see his sister again. My world and the world of my other cats is not complete without him in it. Please, if you have anything to spare at all, it would make the biggest difference to us at this time.
