Hi! My name is Karolyn Martin and I am raising money for the Miss America Foundation as a part of my journey to earning the job of Miss America!
The Miss America Organization aims to “prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women.” We embody this mission through scholarships, professional development, and our nationwide network of young women.
In high school, I dreamed of competing in the Miss America Organization. I looked up to the poise, intelligence, and confidence that the women of this organization possess. When I was accepted into Appalachian State University's Honors College, I knew I would need help funding my education. In 2019, I decided I would finally compete in my very first Miss America local competition the following year to earn this financial assistance.
Three years later, I earned the job of Miss North Carolina 2022! During my time in this organization, I have earned $28,500 (and counting) of scholarships allowing me to be DEBT FREE at the age of 22 with plenty of scholarship money to spare for my future J.D.
Furthermore, this organization has empowered me to publish my own cookbook, connected me with amazing women and volunteers across the country, and refined skills that will help me in my career and beyond.
The Miss America Organization has been uplifting the voices of young women for over 100 years, and we want to do it for 100 more! But we need your help. Will you support and share my campaign for the Miss America Foundation today? No donation is too small!
