Because of You, They’re HomeWe found them one by one.
Some tied to posts on abandoned farms. Some too thin to stand in the rain. All of them flinching at every sound, unsure if a human hand meant harm.We didn’t know if they’d ever trust again.
But slowly, day by day, they did.It started with quiet voices during feeding time. Soft brushes across trembling withers. Then one morning, they walked to the gate and nickered — at us. Not for food. Just because we were there.
Yesterday, we watched them gallop. A whole herd, manes flying, ears forward, chasing each other across the pasture. Free.We can’t tell you what that moment felt like. After months of patience, of small steps and setbacks, to see them choose joy — that’s why we do this.To everyone who has sent encouragement, shared our posts, volunteered hours in the mud, or simply believed these horses deserved better:
thank you.You didn’t just help horses. You reminded them they were worth loving. And now, they’re home. With full hearts.
