My name is Pauline, and I live in the US (Baltimore City). I'm running this fundraiser for Maram and her family so they can survive amidst this ongoing gen 0 side and ultimately evacuate G aza. In her own words below:
"My name is Maram from Gaza. l'm studying computer science, to be a software engineer. But my university was destroyed, and education was suspended. I'm currently studying online, but internet is very slow due to the recent bombing in the area, and the pressure on the internet it is very high. I also like to draw...l am an artist.
My family consists of 6 members. My mother's name is Shireen and she is 44. My father's name is Abd Rabbo and he is 56. He also suffers from chronic illnesses like diabetes, but insulin is unavailable. My older brother's name is Amir and he is 21. l am Maram and l am 20. My younger brother's name is Muhammad and he is 18. My younger brother is Samer and he is 11. He was injured in his foot 4 months ago. He is fine now, but he cannot walk well. Many of my family members were martyred. My cousins and my uncle were martyred.
We have been displaced about 4 times, moving from one place to another due to the bombing. We currently live in a tent in an area called Al-Zawaida. The occupation completely destroyed my house. I used to live in the Netzarim area, where the army is currently based, and I cannot return to my home.
