Tim Carpenter our dad and our mom’s husband passed away suddenly on February 10 2025. He spent one week in the ICU unable to breathe on his own and speak to us. That has left my mom in a panic situation. She currently has $110 in her bank account and she is devastated by the fact that we have not secured and set up the cremation leaving him unattended. This is $1495.00. The house payment and both cars payments are also behind.Me and my siblings are going to help as much as we can, but I wanted to make it possible for others who want to and can help as well. I chose to do a spot fund instead of a GoFundMe because they only take out a 2.9% credit card fee into $.30 of every donation. we will be planning a celebration of life, but it will be next month. as many of you probably know by now my mom was admitted to the hospital February 22 at about 3:30 PM. I took her to the ER because she was very confused and weak and could not breathe the previous Monday. She did not feel well and went to urgent care and was diagnosed with influenza a. She took the antiviral medication, but her body was already weak. When she was admitted to the hospital, they told us that she had double pneumonia from the influenza and she was positive for MRSA and she also had a fungal infection. This picture was her birthday. I went and decorated her room and brought her some Yummies and beautiful flowers with balloons. At this point, we are unsure that my mom is going to pull through and we will have more information on Monday. We were able to get the funds to get Tim picked up and taken care of the more aspects at this point of things that are going to be needing taken care of. If in fact, she is able to go home she cannot work. She is going to need to downsize significantly into a way to be able to financially take care of herself. We were planning on Tim’s celebration of life being March 15 but as of now that is on hold, but no matter what it will be held in his honor and details will follow.
