As the protective shield of TPS (Temporary Protected Status) lifts for hundreds of thousands of immigrant families in our community, these individuals and families are facing an overwhelming tide of uncertainty. Here in Pennsylvania, Haitian families and others are deeply impacted, suddenly finding their world turned upside down. Losing work authorization means losing their lifeline, affecting daily essentials like food, housing, and transportation. This is tremendous distress, and the need for emergency financial support is urgent as they navigate this difficult transition.
