On March 4, my ex husband, Adrian Ramos, passed away in Las Vegas from complications of covid.
This morning I discovered through a third party that Adrian's heirs are now expected to take care of their father's remains.
While not an unreasonable assumption, we were kept mostly out of the loop during his illness and it left us unprepared for the aftermath.
Why this was sprung on us is not important. What is important is that he deserves to have his remains cared for respectfully and for that reason I am asking for help funding his cremation costs, for his sake and for the sake of his adult children Gavin, Thomas and Liam and his minor daughter, Ava.  I am helping them to the best of my ability, but funds are tight and Adrian did not leave a will as far as I know.
Adrian's children and myself thank you very much for your support during this trying time.

Thank you so much for your donations! We are just under halfway to our goal. Finalizing his arrangements happens today (I got my days mixed up), but if you can, please repost this and ask your friends, family, etc to drop in a dollar or two. It adds up, I promise! Again, thank you for all you have done.

Hi Everybody. Gavin and I have been in touch with Palm Mortuary (apparently the Mortuary arrangements had been established before the entire thing was dropped in our laps) and the cremation fees are much smaller than I anticipated (about $3500 vs the $10,000 I'd feared), so the funding goal has been adjusted to reflect that.
We are supposed to finalize arrangements this Friday, so please share this post and ask your friends and family to donate so we'll be able to cover the costs for his cremation and the flights for his children to pick up Adrian's ashes.
Thank you so much for all the help so far and in the future.
