Hello! My name is Addison--I am running and participating so that everyone can have the opportunity to play a sport. Throughout my life I have tested out multiple sports, and now that I found the ones I love I can truly not imagine my life without them. They've given me an outlet to distract my mind from issues, kept me in shape, and have curated me into the person I am today. However, all throughout our community there are kids and family's who cannot afford the costs of sports, and that is why I am running, to give an opportunity to every kid that needs help in Chatham.
Play It Forward is a community fundraiser where every step makes a difference. Runners and walkers are sponsored by friends, family, and local supporters to raise money for sports scholarships and equipment for kids who might not otherwise have the chance to play. Each donation helps remove barriers and opens the door for more young athletes to join the game. Together, we’re turning miles into opportunities.
