Project 351 transformed my life and put me on a trajectory of service. I often sit and reflect, realizing that my life would look nothing like it does today if it were not for that old snowy day in January 2017 when I was introduced to the beloved community.
This community built my leadership skills and connected me with my best friends. It has been one of the single most formative things in my life and has been an important role in guiding my future. It led my to UPenn, and to pursuing a life of service.
To this day, when looking for guidance, direction, and purpose, I turn to my 351 community for counsel.

ABOUT PROJECT 351
PROJECT 351 is a transformative leadership development program that cultivates a new generation of change makers, civic leaders, and social entrepreneurs. By effort and example, 35ONE leaders forge strategies and solutions that build a more just, inclusive, and equitable world.
Project 351’s leadership model – the only one of its kind in the nation – begins with an intentional journey of service, civic engagement, and leadership development for eighth grade unsung heroes (Ambassadors) representing the Commonwealth’s 351 cities and towns. For a year’s term, Ambassadors unite to build the skills, knowledge, empathy, and courage required to lead bold change.
Transformed by their Ambassador year, high school Alumni continue to develop skills and lead statewide social change through our Leadership Continuum. A robust portfolio of leadership, service, and career development opportunities engage high school Alumni as capacity builders, mentors, and program leaders.
Powered by purpose, members of our Alumni community lead as founders of innovative nonprofits and foundations, social and racial justice activists, enlisted military and AmeriCorps members, and mission-driven professionals in education, environment, and global health.
Project 351 is an independent nonprofit entirely funded by the generosity of values-aligned individuals, foundations, and corporations. As Project 351 enters its 15th year in January, our Alumni community has a goal to raise $25,000 – $25k for the Class of ‘25 - by Launch Day on January 25, 2025, to ensure the next generation of Ambassadors is afforded the same opportunities that our Alumni were! Your donation of any size is an investment in our youth and their futures!
Project 351 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a tax identification number: 45-4103159. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law and are accepted with sincere gratitude.
