Unbelievably, my mother’s (humble) life insurance took over 3 months to pay out back in 2023-24. In the meantime I had both borrowed and tapped out my emergency resources expecting her payment to come through within the 30-day timeframe to cover Mom's funeral expenses - within the weeks in advance of Mom's memorial in Texas - but it wasn't until over 3 months of still waiting for the insurance to replenish my resources that the payment finally cleared - in the meantime I wasn't able to keep up with my regular expenses so I was then - and even at this late date - still owing for funeral-related expenses for my mom's 2024 memorial at this time as well.
It is my hope that combining forces - with your help, maybe I can still overcome THIS hurdle too and get back on an even keel - and get my Texan neighbor(s) paid back as well.
