I am Nadine from Gaza, a mother of four. Since my husband abandoned us, I have been facing life alone with my children, without any source of income or anyone to support us. We have endured displacement countless times and repeatedly seen death closing in on us; only God’s grace and mercy have saved us. Today, we live in a dilapidated tent that offers no protection against the summer heat or the winter cold; we share it with insects and mice, and our bodies are covered in flea and mosquito bites. During the winter, our tent flooded repeatedly, and we lost the last of our clothes and belongings. My youngest child is suffering from psychological trauma and requires specialized care, while I suffer from severe vision impairment and a misalignment issue, needing prescription glasses to prevent my eyesight from worsening. My children simply dream of an opportunity for education and a dignified life. Any support—no matter how small—could alleviate our suffering and give my children new hope. Thank you to everyone who extends a helping hand.
