To my friends, family, and community,
I am reaching out today as I stand at a significant crossroads in my life. Many of you know me as an author, an artist, and a mother who has spent the last few years navigating an incredibly difficult path. I have survived house fires, major health crises with my children, and the deep personal work of rebuilding my life from the ground up.
As I prepare to celebrate my 37th birthday this April, I am also facing a daunting legal hurdle. To ensure a safe, stable, and peaceful future for myself and my children, I am currently involved in a complex legal process regarding custody and the finalization of my divorce.
The financial burden of legal retainers, court costs, and the expenses associated with establishing a new, independent home has become a mountain I cannot climb alone. After everything I have overcome—including my journey to health and sobriety since July 2024—I am asking for your help to cross this final finish line.
