We've lived in this complex for over five years and a lot of my neighbors have pets so when we moved to a downstairs apartment due to my husband's recent disability, this beautiful little cat kept coming by everyday so I began to feed her in hopes of giving her a new home. I fed her for three months and gained her trust. Last week the landlady knocked on our door and I was told not to feed her because it goes against our new lease. Yesterday, I contacted the ESA (emotional support animal) agency for a letter from them which would legally allow me to keep Meow-meow (the cat). They charge $220 and being on a fixed income, I can't afford it. So, now I face getting evicted or letting my little kitty Meow-meow starve to death. Please help Meow-meow and me. Thank
