The blamed would like to thank all of our family, friends and fans during this time. The well wishes and prayers for Bryan do not go unnoticed. We truly look forward to playing for you again. If you know Bryan, you know it is not like him to ask for help, but he has given us permission to ask on his behalf. We are asking for any financial help possible and completely understand if someone can't. We don't want you to do anything that would be a burden to you, but our fearless leader and friend Bryan could use some help.
If you know the beginnings of Tooth & Nail records you've heard the name Bryan Gray. He has over 150 songs that have been published with several bands ( Mortal, The blamed, Left Out… etc) on several labels. He is a top notch lighting tech and amateur tour manager, too. He is a person that strives to make music better and to make it reach everyone possible. He has never wanted to be the center of attention and even in his time of need he continues to be concerned about the needs others. He is the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back.
This past year has been a challenge. Some medical issues have come up and he is faced with the bills. Bryan has made continual efforts to heal. He had some surgery which went well, but complications occurred that were life threatening. It was touch and go for quite awhile. After being in a medically induced coma for 4 weeks after surgery, ECMO, kidney dialysis and the passing of his cat, he has pulled through! Hopefully the worst of it is over. He is a champ! He is now in rehab to get strong enough to walk and move properly because his muscles atrophied during his long nap. He is looking forward to being home, writing, recording and getting back to normal.
