When Rotimi and I got married last August, we made a promise to put God first in every part of our lives. Instead of spending money on a honeymoon, we chose to go on a mission trip to honor Him, believing that starting our marriage in service to God would set the foundation for a lifetime of blessings. That decision has shaped us in so many beautiful ways, and we’ve seen God’s faithfulness every step of the way.
Now, as I’ve just graduated cum laude with a degree in psychology and a minor in religion, my heart longs for the chance to finally take the honeymoon we set aside. It would mean so much to us to have this time to celebrate our love, reflect on God’s goodness, and create cherished memories before stepping into the next chapter of starting a family.
