Help Georgie Heal: Urgent Surgery Needed

June 1st! His surgery will be on Monday! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.😬 I just want to hurry up and get it over with so he can heal. He's been doing so well with everything, even taking his meds!🤣 I want to thank all of you who have donated. It seriously is helping me put a dent in the 3k bill. Sooooo.... Georgie went to the vet this morning. I really like this one! Georgie even gave her a hug!🥰 They were able to get Xrays without sedation and the bone looks great! She said it should be a pretty easy surgery. They are just going to take the plate out and clean up some infection in there. No new hardware needs to go back in. So good news is he'll only be down for 2 weeks to heal. More good news is this quote was only 3,300! More than half of the other vet! It's still a lot but I trust this vet! It was worth the 1hr and 40 min drive thru Tampa during rush hour.🥴🥴 But the view wasn't half bad!🌴🌴🌊🌊🏖🏖
