Debbie and I are stage of life and, we recognize the need for guidance, tools, and support—both to prepare the next generation of leaders and to address the emotional and spiritual challenges that come with this milestone. One resource we are hoping to use is a ministry called Standing Stone.
Standing Stone offers an intensive, week-long counseling experience designed specifically for long-term missionaries. They provide homes across the U.S., from Hawaii to Florida, and thoughtfully care for all logistics—meals, groceries, and even recreation time—allowing couples to rest, reflect, and receive care.
The cost for this week is $2,900 per couple, not including transportation or any additional time before or after. We are hoping to attend in March and are prayerfully seeking additional support to help make this possible. Our goal is to raise $5,000 total.
We have never taken a sabbatical, nor are we stepping away from ministry. We simply recognize the need for a brief pause and some extra support as we continue forward.
