Hello, My name is Ron Leinart, I have had this posted for some time now and although I have gotten some donations, it has not been the flood of well-wishing I was desperately hoping for. I have tried to live my life the best I can. Work hard, be honest, help others, love everyone as I have been loved. These are the values my parents and brothers put in me and I have tried to pass those values to my own children. That much at least, I know was successful.

As for what may lie ahead, things are dark and uncertain. I will be losing my right foot permanently on December 29th of this year. It will be amputated. I confess, I am relieved by that decision because it means no more pain at some point (at least from that part of my body) but I have to admit, i'm scared. "MY FOOT IS GETTING CUT OFF".  This is what my brain screams at me seemingly all the time. I cant seem to grasp the fundamental notion. All that being said, It is going to happen so I guess I will get used to the idea, one way or another. I dont know how we are going to get by after that

My wife found a group from Church that is going to build me a wheelchair ramp to get into my house, so that is going happen. I get a little more scared every day, the day of the amputation is closing in. I know it may give me a new start on life but I still dread it a little.
