Hello! I'm Sara Larae. I'm a retired RN looking to reenter the money making racket! I spent my life caring for others in both my personal life and in my workplace. I loved caring for patients and adored being a mother! Since my Gramma was killed horribly in an auto accident I decided that I would find the courage to do with my life what both my grandparents had hoped for me! To become a successful artist in a chosen area. There are SO many areas of art that I love and I wanted to choose something that I loved AND that paid homage to my grandmother and her love of yarns and textiles and home decor! For a wedding present long ago she gifted me a chenille bedspread. I wish I still had it but unfortunately I didn't realize how classic and timeless the bedspreads we're. I have figured out how to create my own chenille designs with vibrant colors and have decided to utilize vintage chenille bedspreads as the base for my creations. This way I will be adding a vintage and heirloom worthy base to my new, unique, and hopefully desireable style in all types of cool patterns including but not limited to old skool tattoo designs, classic Japanese nods, and possibly some nods to Hoffman and Jones too!
