Endora has been called many things in her life. A pest. A stray. A rescue. A furbaby. A pet. The best one she has ever been called is a miracle.
Endor was a rescue at the end of the line. She had been at the shelter for so long, they had her down to just $15 and still no one wanted her. That was until her mom saw her picture online and said "I know those ears. She has a friend who lives here." With a headbutt and nose boop, Endora joined the clatter, yoda earing next to her sister Morticia.
Endora didn't come 100% healthy. She had finished medications from mastitis that caused a her to have a side entry spay. Life on the street left her malnourished and her fur was rough.
Life in a home with a regular diet and a loving family soon brought Endora to a healthy state and she began to run, play and enjoy her new life. That was until late October 2024 when Endora started to slow down and her belly filled with fluid. Endora was rushed to an ER where her family learned she had FIPV.
Without treatment Endy would only live a short while and any treatment would cost hundreds of dollars a month plus the cost of vet visits and labs. Food that Endy would eat as her taste changed week to week. Endora's amazing vet took care of her over a weekend after a surgery to put a feeding tube in help Endora.
A year later, Endora is still fighting. She has never given up and we have never given up on her. Unfortunately, Endora has also been diagnosed with Feline Luekemia. Endora's fight is even greater now.
