   Sophia was around 3-4 years old when her hand accidentally fell into boiling soup. She was immediately rushed to Goaso municipal hospital in Ghana. This was not a health case the hospital had never experienced before. Sophia was treated and released later on from the hospital, with her hand wrapped. The parents were not given a specific return date or details of what to do, all they knew was that Sophia's hand had been been treated. 
   After a lot of time had passed the Sophia was taken back to the hospital to get her hands unwrapped. This is when her parents realized Sophia's hand had been stuck tightly together. This was due to the doctor and nurse failing to wrap her hand properly for a burn wound. At this point the doctor had not solution so he referred them to another hospital for surgery. The surgery was not a success as it was too late for her hand to be fixed. Sophia's parents never heard from Goaso municipal hospital after the incident, not even an apology.
  This is a fund being raised in Sophia's honor, for the parent's to figure out whether to pursue more ways into getting her hands fixed or sue the hospital.
